ICE Acting Field Office Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations Robert Cerna suggested the unaccused deportees did not have criminal records in the United States only "because they have only been in the United States for a short period of time."

I used to tell my clients, “don’t worry, they can’t deport you without a court order!” But that is no longer the case.

I didn’t see this coming but I should have. Trump needs his deportation numbers to increase and the immigration court process takes too long.

This is huge, if true. ICE typically keeps an individuals identification documents until the termination of their immigration case. People released from ICE won’t be able to fly to live with their families.
