Unfortunately, every good situation she manages to find herself in, she always has to deal with the other side of the coin... the angelic good luck she gets periodically always leads to some sort of loss, which always makes her wonder if the good thing she got in exchange was even worth it.

She moved out of her family's house at 20 and... struggles, a little, to keep herself afloat-- but she doesn't think she would be able to go back to living at home.

Mari wants to do good by other people. She really does try her best!

She's the oldest of three daughters in a fairly religious household. Being raised Catholic can do some things to you, especially when you end up deeply questioning the ideals that you were being raised with and needing to grapple with them.

Mari is very sweet! She is a girls' girl to the core, very enthusiastic about complimenting and uplifting other women. She... definitely says some very gay things to the girls around her. This will cause her psychic damage later.

Another half of an OC pair with a friend, Mari is a pretty normal girl with poor luck who happened to attract the attention of an angel who attempts to give her good luck and accidentally puts her in really unfair situations.

He's fairly self-destructive in a way that he refuses to admit to himself, and tries to immerse himself in day to day pleasures to keep his mind of off it: namely good food, booze, and sex.

Getting out of the house for community soccer helps, too.

Ruoxuan remembers flashes of his previous lives, and knows enough that he can harass his soulmate mostly for the hell of it-- but their ever-growing list of clashing ideas and opinions about the ouroboros they're stuck in leads to a lot of fighting about it.

He is slightly estranged from his family due to some of his own shame, but gets along well with his older brother who sympathizes with him and his reasons for sort of running away from his problems.

He loves them, believe me! He just doesn't like facing them after what he calls his "blow-up."

Ruoxuan is the second son in a Chinese-American family. He dropped out of medical school due to a nasty dip in mental health and is currently going through trade school to become an electrician! He's fairly active, incredibly friend, and spends a lot of time out at parties when he isn't working.

Asuka is gnc and spends a not-insignificant amount of time cross-dressing and playing with fashion. His associated animal are rabbits, and I tend to associate him with strawberries (while Alexei Prime is associated with cherries).

He's more-or-less an RP-exclusive OC but I love to draw him!!

He's the son of a lawyer and a model, loves pink and books and boba, and his favorite book he has annotated to hell is Watership Down.

His dad is Japanese-English and his mother is Dutch, and while he spent a lot of his childhood in Japan, he lived in Europe (specifically London) from about 12-23!

I've had Asuka in multiple incarnations since I was probably fifteen or so-- about eight years of him as his original incarnation ("Alexei", which is his legal name) or as his current incarnation ("Asuka", which is a nickname his grandma gave to him and that I use to differentiate him from the OG~)
