In my video I described someone who said that “all disability is a social construct” as “wrong”.

A couple people have pushed back on this so let me be clear.

I don’t see how I’m infantilising him saying he’s done decades of work to help communities that desperately needed it, & because of this, he probably shouldn’t be the target for GP members.

He reposted someone saying that Corbyn has stated that he won’t work with other left wing parties when he actually stated the opposite.

“Time to forget about Corbyn” was the main line.

I just think it’s a waste of time. A repeat of past mistakes.

I don’t use “neurodiverse” to refer to individuals, but groups, which is the correct adjective to describe a group of neurodivergent people.

I’m just saying that he’s done a lot of work over decades to build trust among thousands of people & so it’s a bit silly for Green Party members to spend time attacking an MP like that.

I think his strengths are in community building & outreach.

She fucked up by announcing the thing so early before any mechanisms for collective decision making were in place.

If members already had a say, none of this would be happening. It wouldn’t be any kind of club, it would be what it’s supposed to be.

Not buying what? Membership just opened, no conference has happened. Members can vote for their representatives. Like that’s not an opinion, it’s just how it goes?

Have the Greens booted out all of their problematic members?

I wouldn’t vote for him as leader, I think his strengths are elsewhere.

But also “a great constituent MP” is a great thing. A rare thing. A thing that perhaps, would be a huge benefit to anyone wanting to reach & help communities.

Attacking him is pointless & will lose trust in those communities.

I’m disappointed. I also understand the concept of a democratic party that hasn’t had the chance to do any democracy yet.

I also think Zarah shat the bed with that early announcement.

(They’re saying JC isn’t open to working with the GP, when he has said he is.)

I’d vote Green but this is stupid.

He might have, and would still have used his position to help his constituents who trust him, because he has put in the work. “Career politicians” don’t put in the work.
