Based on the tenor of conversation on e.g. reddit you'd think a lot of people were bouncing off the game, but it's clearly just a loud minority. Like, everyone I know who started playing on launch day is still playing today, and most of them are either new to PoE or hadn't played PoE1 in years.

There's a nice element to games with a solo focus like PoE where by understanding the systems well enough I can challenge myself to find a way to use an off-meta skill to do the hardest content. It wraps back around.
But any game where you have teammates, that's off the table.

Deathtouch is great because it makes all damage into excess damage. Trample lets you assign 1 extra damage to a creature and have the rest trample through. If she has both, you can assign exactly 2 damage to each blocker, and any remaining to face.

The most obvious includes here are fight spells and extra combat spells. Sometimes the obvious include is boring but both of these are fun.
