I finished reading How To Win An Information War recently which speaks about the lessons we can learn from fighting Nazi propaganda in WWII. I highly recommend that you pick up & read this if you can. We need to learn how to fight Republican propaganda. They're using the same playbook the Nazis did.

I'd suggest reading What You're Getting Wrong About Appalachia. When my partner and I lived in the region, it was a book club read to counter Hillbilly Elegy. I cannot recommend it enough!

I hope you're planning to protect and support the trans children here in NC too. The trans community hasn't heard a peep of support from you recently despite them being under attack. Same with intersex children who have sex reassignment surgery forced on them at birth. Stand up for these communities

If you're going to support trans folks, mentioning them in the list of targeted groups with this act is a good place to start. But you seem to be avoiding mentioning the trans community at all. Don't be like my dad who stood by and watched my stepmom abuse. Speak up for those under your care.

You still haven't answered my question: How do you plan to support and protect your intersex and trans constituents? I've been asking and calling and emailing since December. What's the point of being able to send in questions for a town hall ahead of time if they're ignored?

Hold in person town halls so you can speak with us face to face. Also, I've been calling and writing you since December to ask what you're doing to protect and support your intersex and trans constituents. You have not said a damn word and this new page doesn't either. Speak up for these communities
