Many months after the auction closed, here’s the final set of my garter commissions from the OFMD Craft Fair. Sueded silk with a woodland scene + antlers to illustrate a silly pun inspired by a historical poesy ring. Close-up below, because I’m pretty proud of my tiny hart. #embroidery #stitchsky

The first garter features an embroidered woodland scene of trees, flowers, a stag with antlers (aka a hart), and the words “you have my hart.” The second garter features embroidery of two antlers bedecked with flowers, and the words “please give it back.”

A new patch for my swim gear bag! From a pattern by @badstitch.bsky.social. I tried a different finishing/edging technique, and while it looks a little wonky, I think that only adds to the charm.

When so much is happening to provoke fear & distress, I'm trying VERY hard to avoid the bottomless pit of worry. When there's nothing practical I can do, making stuff helps. Every wonky satin stitch on this pattern by BZ Creations helped my nervous system stay regulated. From 3.9.25. #embroidery

Stitched this pattern by Heretic Designs for a friend who's doing her best despite a workplace where this advice is ignored. I used unbranded variegated floss from the reuse center, because why NOT bring some candypop flair to everyday resistance?
