It was great to meet stakeholders from the music sector at SAMC. EU Commissioner G. Micallef announced that the awaited Culture Compass will be published at the beginning of November and will include topics such as culture and wellbeing, security and economy for a stronger and more resilient Europe.

St. John Fortress Educational Campus in Šibenik hosted our Green Beat workshop as part of the SHIP Festival. We explored the green transition in the music sector, equipping participants with strategies to reduce carbon footprints, implement eco-friendly practices and foster eco-conscious behaviour.

Culture will be part of the new AgoraEU programme. We need to ensure that we see a strong, reinforced Culture Strand reflecting the aims and needs of the sector and the continuation of music-sector specific funding.
