Analogue and digital photography imposter. When not making images, I play guitar, listen to music, or watch arthouse movies. The GP logo is from my soon-to-be real photography web site, GravuraPhoto.net
Good luck Andrew.

Hear hear. I’m working my way through a few books right now. Viewing images in books, especially if they are accompanied by excellent text, is not to be underestimated.

Cool. Minolta cameras are great. I have a Dynax 800si with a few lenses, and it’s one of my favourite 35mm film cameras 😎

That’s fabulous! I’ve had a similar idea with the alleyways down the sides of houses off Mill Road in Cambridge, but the idea is yet to be fully realised (ie I’ve taken a few one-off shots but not got my arse in gear 😂).

That sucks, Andrew. Hope you get a solution soon.
I’m into month 4 of some physio on my lower back/hip. I’m starting to think I need more than physio. It’s nowhere near as bad as your situation (it doesn’t actually stop me from doing anything) but it’s annoying.

If I’ve still got Stig’s Lensbaby when we hook up with Mamiyas, we could do some funky 35mm stuff too 😎

Don’t say that!! I’ve got 6 rolls of (as yet unshot) 30-year-old Fuji 120.

Film is readily available! My go-to supplier is Analogue Wonderland. Film photography has undergone a massive revival over the past few years.

Sounds like a plan!!
It’s new to me. It comes with two lenses (110 and 60mm), two film backs, and a Polaroid back. Waist-level and prism finders.
One of the film backs has a broken tensioning plate/roller, so I’m hopefully getting a replacement part from Mamiya UK (Santini)
