Is IG the right platform with the audience for this moment? It seems to me that it takes courage to fight, and they don't have it just by virtue of remaining there. I would consider a youtube channel as your main platform for now. Just a thought.

Is there a mechanism to replace minority leadership in the House and the Senate? This is a time that calls for real leaders, and I've seen more push-back from Mitch McConnell. Has someone in Schumer's and Jeffries' offices told them there is a coup happening?

I am personally terrified about the mental health of neurodivergents over the next 4 years. I've got the sense of justice flavor of autism and even keeping my news consumption at an absolute minimum, I've noticed a drastic downward spiral.

My first grade teacher made a valiant effort to teach me how to hold my pencil the right way. This is one of the first signs of autism but I wouldn't know it until I was in my 40s. My broken mixed print and cursive would have also been a giveaway. #autism

Deleted the tiktok app which will help wind down my usage. My rule for who I continue to follow is they cannot only have or promote meta. I don't care how much I enjoy their content.

Imagine what the autistic community could do if we didn't have to constantly firefight and debunk the latest nonsense in the news. Imagine how much we could be furthering the conversation on neurodivergence, the diagnosis and support crisis and how society could change for the better.

I don't know how I'll pull it off, but I need to avoid the news as much as possible for 4 years. Last time sent me into autistic burnout for 2 years. My history nerdom and need for social justice is a dangerous combo for me.

As much as I need TikTok as a neurodivergent, I'm going to try to diversify my app usage. I don't think events from the conception of a ban to today are to be ignored. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.
