Today we release the 2nd single off Wednesday Knudsen's double LP, ATRIUM. Skyline I is a deep & expansive melody of arching arpeggios, evoking Lynchian scenes of a stark winter forest or a city coming into view from a vast desert landscape. Listen: wednesdayknudsen.bandcamp.com/album/atrium-2

"Fair Aegis" turns drone into the primer for the painting, adding brushstrokes of sax and synth that play at the speakers like light through the trees in Knudsen's upstate NY surroundings. The piece raises from the canvas to the canopy, echoing out over the mountains. bit.ly/3VFZgm0

Today we share the video for "Fair Aegis," the 1st single off Wednesday Knudsen's forthcoming double LP, ATRIUM. Shot, produced & edited by Knudsen, the video is an homage to the leaf-light and light-ways of her home's hillside setting in NY's Taconic Mountains 🍃⛅🍂

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft part of your forearm
love what it loves (brownies).

“Pelton said Smithsonian officials told them they covered it up because they were "afraid that somebody was going to walk by and see 'Free Palestine' on our mural and get mad and hurt us. And I'm like, 'maybe we are not the problem in that situation.'"
Teen artists portrayed their lives — some adults didn't want to see the full picture
"What is it like to be a teen right now?" Young artists explored that question for two different exhibitions of their work this summer. But on the National Mall, their work was deemed too political.
