Prior, only robber barons, Kings & gentry held vast lands.

President Theodore Roosevelt (October 27, 1858 - January 6, 1919) was a monumental figure in conservation, responsible for willing the Forest Service into existence and aggressively setting aside public lands as parks, refuges, and forest reserves. A quote is attributed to him stating “When the People of the United States consciously undertake to raise themselves as citizens, and the Nation and the States in their several spheres, to the highest pitch of excellence in private, State, and national life, and to do this because it is the first of all the duties of true patriotism, then and not till then the future of this Nation, in quality and in time, will be assured.” The theme “All of Us” is proclaimed at the top, with the subheading #AltCitizen.
