On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute peoples who call this region home. Their culture and contributions endure despite centuries of displacement and erasure. May this day renew our responsibility to truth-telling and respect for Indigenous sovereignty.

Thank you to everyone who came to our emergency town hall last night. In the face of Trump’s Big Ugly Bill, it was inspiring to see so many neighbors come together, ask thoughtful questions, and share your concerns. When we come together, we’re stronger than the problems in front of us.

I wanted to share a joint statement from Colorado's legislative Jewish caucus on the horrific hate crimes committed yesterday in Boulder. Antisemitism has no place in Colorado. In these times, we are grateful for those willing to stand in solidarity to say the same.
