Turned in a revision of Clutch yesterday. Never thought I’d spend so much time thinking about bouncy houses, but the novel takes you where it needs to go.

Turns out a halal whole duck from Lawrenceville Costco + spicy kielbasa from Trenton Farmer's Market = pretty good approximation of duck and sausage gumbo. You can take your husband out of Louisiana but... he'll still destroy the kitchen making an excellent Thanksgiving gumbo.
