Oh and trees and birds and many telegraph poles, hills and pylons. And I have written words to accompany the drawing every day.

Poor Jane has already had her face melted by me. The fur fam has already featured. As has a terrifying digital sketch of Claudia done while watching the Traitors (my delicious, guilty pleasure).

In terms of drawing, so far I have done: many terrible botch sketches. Some experiments. Some live drawing. I have even done one or two pictures that I actually like.

For the gallant few, who follow a thread to its very end, here is a picture of the horses, sheep and pylons. Happy New Year

I put this flurry of drawing down to 1st day over enthusiasm. Rest assured there will be plenty of days in the coming weeks and months when a scribble on a post-it will be as good as it gets. But let's celebrate while we may.

For the thread inclined : just a note to say that the blog is a bumper edition today. Along with mushrooms, there is also a sketch of horses sheep and pylons.

When I remember to pootle here, it's these kinds of threads, I didn't know I needed, that I hope to bump into. One of the fault lines that sit between FascistHellscape4eva or a world we want to live in, is defending thinking for its own sake/pleasure/surprise. Also. It didn't feel basic 2 me x
