Gym was closed I thought I’d go for a run. Day one on the Zombies Run 5k training app. With a soundtrack of my Christmas music. Felt goooooood.

I’ve been working through a meditation course and it can be hard going. But today I had a bit of an upset time and remembered one of the recent techniques. Used it, and was almost immediately back on the level. Absolutely crazy. Hope it wasn’t a one off because that will be verrrrrry useful.

Trying to peel the label off a secret Santa gift and it’s not going well

Watched the first episode of Bad Sisters this evening and it wasn’t what I expected at all. I thought it was going to be a full on comedy but it’s not even slightly. Looking forward to watching more though.

When you’re let down a lot you do have to start to realise that you’ve put your faith in the wrong people. And move on to the right people.

I meditate pretty much daily and I find a lot of value in the practice. I usually go for guided sessions as I don’t switch off easily. Sometimes though, it absolutely cracks me up. A gem from my last session : ‘you might still feel that you have a head’

I’m in a ‘presentation skills’ workshop on Teams that was supposed to begin at 10am and it’s a total shambles with a few false starts so far. The irony is smacking me about the face.

I thought I saw a guy walking a sheep this morning. When I got closer I saw it was just a big black dog wearing a white jumper and I was so disappointed.
