Yeah same. My mom had to spend the rest of her savings- which wasn’t much- to qualify for Medicaid. She did a spend down program with the facility and paid for living there with the rest of her money, then Medicaid kicked in.

My 83 year old mom has Alzheimer’s and is able to live -and thrive- in an assisted living facility because of Medicaid. I’m terrified of what will happen to her if we lose Medicaid. Please help us.
