So I’m watching lotr, return of the king and for the first time this movie is making me weep, I grew up with the book and movie and have probably watched it 30+ times but today it has hit me how much Tolkien put his experiences into it

If you’re in an institution doing any kind of DEI work, the most important thing to do right now is simply call it something else. Change it to “Community Outreach” & then keep on doing the same important work. When they outlaw Community Outreach rebrand it as “Strategic Partnerships,” rinse/repeat.

Me, at the store watching them bitches complain about $8 eggs and $30 chicken.

With everything that’s already happened I the last 24 hours and going to happen, I’m in desperate need of soup to warm my heart! Today I made beef and barley soup and am settling down to figure out how to make the next 4 years better for the people I love!
