Unfortunately I think this is just the nature of capitalism. You're never going to have an IP get big and talked about without it also being profitable. We might as well commentate on such a state wherever possible, doesn't necessarily make it shallow (not that Cyberpunk is extremely deep)

This convinced me to watch it, I think it looks pretty interesting and I'm very curious about the Divinity lore now (I haven't played any of the games). Completely valid not to want to interact with that kind of content tho
