We adopted through Korean K9, which is located in Queens, NY but I think they do adoptions to Boston as well.

The rescues often provide all the supplies so there isn't a big commitment to purchase crate/leash/food etc. and there is also the potential to "foster fail" meaning you meet a dog that's great for your family and adopt them (that's what happened with our sweet girl Jinx back in 2019!)

I second the comments that suggest working with a rescue/volunteering as a foster. It's a great 'trial run' to see how your household can adapt to caring for a dog. And if you haven't had dogs before fostering a few dogs can give you a better sense of the temperament you're looking for.

Their very obvious claim is that it’s racist discrimination to *have a policy to address racial disparities* but it’s fine to have a system that simply creates massive racial disparities. The correction attempt is the outrage. Not the disparities. Because they are white supremacists.
