Five decades of music
For the first twenty years of my adult life I was a professional musician. For the second act, I spent over twenty years as a teacher. I’m too damn old to ‘raise hell,’ but you will feel the bass if you come see the band play. This is my life… for as long as I have the strength to perform.

I started playing bass in the mid-seventies. Today, I still perform every month and look forward to every gig. If you’re a musician, never stop! Keep playing. Don’t retire from music until your body prevents you from performing.

I was one of the youngest session players in Nashville, Dallas, and Houston, with touring gigs across the United States. It was a blessed life for a young man with a 4-string bass.
