they're not quite universal, it's easy to make them too fast or too slow, trying to do things like timed breaths are still awkward. but it feels soooooo good to stare. all you have to do is read. it's so simple.

i've read a handful of *really* good text inductions over the years, but they're really often troubled by needing to manually scroll. where do you hold the text when you read it? is having to scroll taking me out of it a little bit? timed text spirals neatly solve both problems.
