Interrupting the horrible timeline to say congrats to my son, Henry, who graduated from the University of Chicago yesterday! He and his fellow graduates will surely be a force to help steer this nation out of these dark days. 🤓🎓

(Almost) unbelievable to me that our current VP visited Dachau this year and his take away was “great idea…let’s do that!” The moral compass in this administration is beyond repair. 😒😬😣

I visited Dachau last month and was told it’s a required field trip for every student in Germany. It is a somber and moving memorial to those who suffered and died there. The effort on the right to bury and whitewash the ugliness of our own past is part of the problem we must address in the US. 😔
