P.s. I do appreciate the intentions of these candlelight vigilantes, who were mourning the outcomes of many ICE encounters over the past year. I just need them to take like three steps back from the edge of the road.

I don’t have to imagine this, because it happened to me today. As a person who consumes horror novels via audiobook on their commute, I expect the calls to come from inside the house, not outside.

How does owning a pet work? Why are the dogs, songbirds, cats, and other mentioned pets not personified? Could Goose have another type of bird as a pet?
