Was always a dog person, grew up with dogs..

Became adult, moved into house, could not adopt a dog because no fence, ended up with cat (even though allergic to cats)

Purchased air purifier, little to no reaction to cat for first few months, zero reaction to cat after

(Beware the orange ones)

I think the only way around it is by customizing your feed - either with the “only posts” feed or by going into settings, content and media, and update your following feed preferences

It was passed after a protest called the “Capitol Crawl.“ In the Capitol Crawl, people with disabilities, left their wheelchairs, and literally crawled up the steps of the U.S. Capitol building. At the time, there was no accessible entrance. Pictures of people, including children, dragging themselves up the concrete steps, highlighted the discrimination that people with disabilities face.

Would you please read through this slide on disability discrimination and tell me how much of this you already knew?
White words on green background reading: Although they are wrong, they impact the way that society treats people with IDD. Though you may imagine that such abuses could not happen in modern times, consider the following: - Until 1974, the city of Chicago had a law barring people who were “maimed…or in any way deformed” from being seen in public (Greiwe, 2016) - At Willowbrook School in New York, children with IDD were fed fecal matter, contaminated with hepatitis so they could be studied for medical research (Alliance for Human Research Protection, nd; Murphy 2003). This practice ended in 1970. The school was not shut down until 1987. (Disability Justice, n.d. a). - People who use wheelchairs could not enter many government buildings, including the U.S. Capitol building, until the 1990s (Kaufman, 2015) - in many states, a person who is not able to understand complex medical procedures, and risks can lose their right to vote (Vasilogambros, 2018)
