So bluesky has added age verification to Australian users, to access mature-rated content, meaning there's a good chance the push to restrict 18+ and 'criminal' (which includes protests) content behind id verification that the rest of the ban (that wasn't discussed publicly) is starting

The online surveillance disguised as 'protecting children' comes into effect in less than 24 hours in Australia, and the entire thing is just so stupid. I would have a kilometer long reply thread just talking about the many issues involved with it.

Finding out steam won't let you use VPNs at all while in preparation for a certain "mass surveillance and no privacy law disguised as protecting children" policy come into Australia at the end of the year is just wonderful, so bloody wonderful.

After an experience in Fallout New Vegas, so far Fallout 3 and 4 have not been living up to any good expectations. I know those two have been considered pretty bad, but I wanted to be optimistic about my views of them.

I think Fallout New Vegas has been the greatest challenge to me in a video game, because it challenges my desire to want the best for everyone (except the blatantly evil factions (Legion, Powder Gangers, Fiends)) by giving a bunch of flawed factions that have issues with themselves and each other.
