Will the discourse be able to metabolize that the shooter was radicalized into the terrorgram, Brevik-worshiping millieu IN SPITE of being trans? No, probably not. They're probably going to read this as a leftist inspired shooting. I'm so tired.

The supreme court has proven that it isn't fixable. However long our present constitutional crisis takes to resolve, it must either end with our democracy abolishing the court, or with the court eventually abolishing our democracy.

Love Margaret Killjoy, but Powell's is on my shit-list for how they strung their employees along during the early pandemic (obstructing them from getting unemployment) then gave nobody the callbacks they promised when they reopened.
Portland is crammed with cute bookstores, I'd skip Powell's.
