From Guardian of the Universe to Gamera the Brave, they are all utter winners and truly understand what makes the genre great 😊

They came in a pack with a mix of the Showa & Heisei era antagonist kaiju and I love them so much
The Barugon especially hecking adorbs

I got mine on a Japanese auction site, probably still the cheapest way to get the pack of them

And of course I can't celebrate Gamera's birthday without including the absolutely wonderful versions of the songs that MST3K did

There's a real passion & joy in these different versions that made those episodes feel truly special 🎵💜

Gamera was my first kaiju, years before I first encountered Godzilla, and for me they will always symbolise hope

They are the shield that keeps humanity safe, but acknowledges that pain is a real thing we have to fight through to win against those things that scare us

In good news I've been going through where my next game is at in terms of writing, art, & music assets and I think I'm good for an October release deadline

With everyone going on it helps to have something to work towards and I think a set release date helps
