I got back into writing fanfic back in spring 2023 - less than two years ago - and joined AO3 after not having written for over 10 years.

Since then I’ve posted 43 fics (a couple WIPs but mostly one shots) for 3 fandoms: Charmed, Lost and X Files.

Flushing the toilet these days is really two easy. Much more creative to jump in and out of the bath time every time you need to flush. 😂

Amazing that no-one’s tried to change that or update the bathroom!

The schools here say kids can be in as long as they don’t feel unwell (even if they test positive). I was so surprised when my colleague said her kid was back in school the day after testing positive.

Schools are really big on attendance so 🤷🏻‍♀️

The e visa system is 😫. We verify share codes as part of my work and the way the government says view/share your immigration status only for them to not actually specify the status 😤🥴 they do say someone can study, work etc but sometimes specifics are needed.

This user is doxxing (and encouraging others to hunt) people left and right. Not really the good Christian they claim to be. Reported post and the user for privacy (but if only I could report for multiple issues). Might not do much but majorly unsettling seeing their profile.

This is awful. Someone with far too much time on their hands it’s doxxing people and seems to think causing a virtual pile on is the moral high ground?!

A good ‘Christian’ should be empathetic and welcoming. The people doxxing are not. So sad how empathy and immigration can’t co-exist for some 😤

Today it's expected that the federal administration is going to make an announcement claiming to have found a "cause" for autism and their plan for what to do about it. Members of AU's team had a discussion about what sort of statement we wanted to make and came to this conclusion: those of us who are impacted by this sort of rhetoric (actual autistic people) have known for a very long time that this was coming.

Despite research proving time and again there is no one "cause" for the autistic neurotype, people still want something to "blame". The real epidemic here is ableism. The amount of time and energy presumably spent on naming autism a "public health crisis" should be spent on solving actual public health crises (such as the overwhelmingly horrifying reality of black maternal mortality rates) and finding ways to support autistic people, not "cure" them. We have no interest in entertaining this announcement but what we do want is the unredacted Epstein files
