I have an Ice Towel and it works pretty well for me. It's the sort that is just fabric that you get wet; it does heat up after a while but you just have to shake it for a bit to cool it down again. I'm in a hot climate and I use it when doing vigorous outside gardening work.

Ooh, I have a 12 inch rigid heddle and I've been thinking about upgrading to a larger size so I can make things other than scarves, but haven't yet worked out what is the best size for the tradeoff between useful fabric width and storing it when not in use.

I impulse bought a small loom last week so I am team buy a loom

I just looked up the official benchmarks and apparently I’m not quite to novice level yet! I guess that just gives me a goal to aim for this year.

I’ve been doing Liftoff for about six months and I highly recommend it, it is so thrilling to be stronger in my mid 50s than any previous time in my life. Hope you get well soon!
