Niantic Spatial seem to have solved the problem with VPS-activated portals that were impossible to calibrate!

Calibration earlier failed on a majority of portals that were activated after the split from Wayfarer, with Portals from before the split continuing to work.

We made a change that might resolve the specific issue where players can't calibrate or localize at some Overclock Portals; it's a general fix for Overclock and not POI-specific. If you're still seeing any issues, please let us know and we'll continue to investigate further, thank you.

The #Ingress team has announced a new feature coming in the next update: Drone’s-Eye View (DEV)!

As with the Intel Map, you will be able to pan around the scanner and view areas outside your normal scanner view and tap a portal to view its details.

On November 1, 2021 Google started to require so called "Scoped Storage" for new App updates amongst other changes, which IITC did not have at that time. (cont)
