I should probably word this more as; how does the puzzle fit opening day? How do the pieces fit July 1?

I feel like a lot of the moves or non-moves this offseason for the lineup have been around leaving space for Culpepper and Jenkins and Rodriguez to all be able to debut when they are ready. My question is, Larnach is probably traded before spring, but what does Wallner have to do to hold his spot?

It does have patterns!

Martin’s played as many professional games at SS in the last 3 full calendar seasons as I have. And I have a desk job and am not an athlete by any means. :)

And he went to the dark side?!?!

Do you want a drumset for the holidays too? May as well just get all the noise possible :)

Their 60th game will be June 4th. So maybe that should be the over under question. By June 5, is he still on the Saints or up in the majors? I’m not certain what I would “bet” but I probably say later too. Thanks!

I’d love to see an over/under bet as far as the date he will debut. Like if I said June 1, would you guess before or after?

I wouldn’t say it is awesome if it wasn’t awesome :) You both are good writers

Let’s say he shows strong defense and even ok offense during spring training. What perfect chance, barring health of everyone, would he debut opening day? Is it a firm zero?

I figure they know generally what his value is across the league and that’s why they offered arbitration. Or at least that has to be the thought process right?

This :)

I’d be fine targeting someone in the low minors with a fastball they like too. That’s how they got Jhoan Duran. Doesn’t HAVE to be someone ready this year. That player may never work out, but I’d be very much ok with a lottery ticket

I’m not a hockey guy, but he certainly seems like someone who wants good things to happen for his team
