Holiday spirit is hard to come by this year. I am finding some happiness with my fiber advent calendar. Day 1 is beautiful white cormo, Day 2 is a blue merino blend, and Day 3 is dyed dark merino. The cormo will become a woven wrap for work; waiting for the merino to tell me what it wants to be

I needed a break from doom scrolling, my nerves are so bad from the state of the US. Decided to make some rolags to spin tomorrow, cotton and lotus blend. Hope it spins up nicely because it feels so great in my hands.

Yarns I am spinning. First is a camel, silk, merino blend. Second is merino silk blend that I carded with Hebridean wool. Not sure what the first will be, but the second is for squares for a crocheted blanket. The blanket theme is water, squares of varying colors that evoke water and coastal areas.
