A Liberal government is better for Smith and the UCP *politically* in Alberta. Losing that bogeyman would be like losing a strategic plank. I'm not sure whether it matters who leads the CPC.

She may have more political power under a Liberal government than one under the CPC. I'm not sure broader conservative aims are part of her calculus.

I do like him more as an actor, comedic or otherwise. I feel the same about Ally Wong. I don't care for her standup, but she is excellent in Beef on Netflix.
