So, I've been fighting cancer since December and went on full sick leave from June. I'm limited due to radiation damage, but I have a ton of free time.

I need ideas to fill it with! I can only watch so much TV/games.

Hit me with your best ideas! The more specific the better!

It absolutely gets worse and better depending on what other factors is in your life..
Mine has been significantly worse in the last 8 months with my medication working much worse. But yeah, been pretty ducking stressed out.

Sure, per year. You're only entitled (depending on terms, which law you are under etc) to 2-3 weeks in a row during the main holiday period.

So, I have a lot of free time at the moment due to long term sickleave.

Any book recommendations?

I'm mostly into sci-fi/fantasy, loving books like LOTR, Discworld, Good Omens, American Gods, the hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, The Expanse and a bunch of others I've probably forgotten.

I'll echo the foundation recommendation.. the time jumping can make it a bit funky to get into but it's nice.

Unifi devices also have a pretty good adoption workflow, but that requires Ethernet.

Arguable whether it falls under your definition(you do mention thread), but generally I've had good results with Zigbee devices. Enable pairing in the hub, do some key combo on the device and it pairs up and exchanges keys and stuff.

I know security is not necessarily the greatest though.

I dunno, it feels more complex than that.
They know how to walk and talk so clearly some knowledge is still there. Muscle memory. So it would make sense if he lost say, inspiration to get ideas for things to paint but the movements was deeper memory.
