Proud father of two wonderful children, blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, married to a patient loving wife. Retired. Living the dream!
A very humbling 3 hours, James. It restored my faith in the British ppl. We may be losing power & influence in a world where old alliance count for very little, but its reassuring to know, for a small Kingdom like the UK, we have a ppl who know right from wrong and will stand up to be counted.

I'm sorry, but it's up to you as a BBC journalist to push back on Farage intervention on a question directed towards Zahawi. Not meekly accept the narrative Farage wants the public to hear. If it is a question for Zahawi, insist he answers it, not Farage!

Interesting comment to call the Labour party and, by extension, its members plastic patriots. How many of your former colleges and comrades are you stigmatising with that label, Jeremy, all of us, or just a selected few?

Its RW propaganda that millionaires are leaving the UK in droves, along with the stories that tens of thousands of publicly educated school children are flooding the state sector because their parents can't afford the Vat on their school fees. It's all dam lies...

This is the inevitable consequence when the direction of travel is towards an authoritarian regime, promoted by a president and those his put in place to sever him and not the country he was elected to represent. This should sever as a warning to us all,if you elect RW populist party.

Interesting fact, Rick.
The significance of which would be lost on the present ownership and washed over by the plastics who follow Chelsea these days.

Just put us all out of our agony and SACK Maresca tonight. The performance this evening was inexcusable a new low for the club.
April 17, 2025 at 10:07 PM
It's a new low for the club. It's absolutely horrendous what's happening at Chelsea now. What we are now witnessing i wouldn't have thought possible just a few short years ago. Maresca has to go imo.
April 17, 2025 at 9:18 PM
Its shambolic. Maresca has to go. His lost the plot...
April 17, 2025 at 9:13 PM
No Sanchez, too. But it starts with Maresca and his constant tinkering with the team. Those his playing, who shouldn't be.
Those on the bench not playing who should be. Players are out of position. Maresca is a hindrance to the teams progress now, not an asset, because of his inconsistency, imo.
April 13, 2025 at 3:24 PM
These poor performances by Chelsea, game after game are all self inflected, and it starts from the moment Maresca names the squad. Players are out of position, players who are on the bench and should playing. Others who are playing who should be on the bench. It really doesn't have to be this way!
April 13, 2025 at 3:13 PM
I take it, you mean Maresca?
I hate to be a bearer of bad news if you are, i have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more of him in the Chelsea dug-out next season..
April 13, 2025 at 3:06 PM
It's difficult watching Chelsea these days. They offer very little in the way of entertainment.
April 10, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Maresca has lost it, Mark!
April 10, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Will someone please think about the penguins?
April 9, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Dont know how you feel, Mark, but UCL qualification should be the priority for the club, especially for Maresca, over anything else, including the Micky Mouse European Conference league. It's what sorts out the wheat from the chaff when it comes to buying top players in the summer.
