So as we can see the idea that Washington DC was a crime infested hell hole before Trump sent in the troops and is now crime free and people strolling the streets safely was and is bullshit. If anything assaults and robberies are on the increase.

Now lets look at non-violent property crimes. The top being theft, then theft from an auto, theft of an auto, and burglary. Only vehicle related thefts are legitimately down since August but they were already trending down since the mid-July peak. Normal theft is not really changed.

Meanwhile in the rest of the US it is crime season as normal. But apparently these places aren't "burning" so no National Guard for them. Funny that...
