Will update this later, just don't want it to be blank.
Pretty sure the only reason Senate Democrats held out this long is that no one wanted to take one for the team and deal with the angry voter fallout.
Their messaging of "we can't give in or people will die" tells you exactly what they think of voters, when they vote for illness and death.

Isn't this the guy that was working in the Oval with Trump, while Trump was at Mar-a-lago? I guess Walmart's CEO was there too.

This is why the frustration. 40 days in to a siege, and 8 of your colleagues decided to open the gates, in exchange for a "corrupt and malevolent foe" promising they'll give a vote. A vote that Johnson has said he won't take up even if you pass it in the Senate. You've already lost.

Because they caved pretty much across the board, and feel bad that the retiring members they chose to be the symbolic sacrifice are being attacked. It's all just theatre. I know that's the case, and yet this is still disheartening.

Good to know his conscience is clear, trading their only leverage for a promise of a vote. I'm sure they'll honor that.

Is the eyes emoji the way people connected to this administration make a statement they can deny means anything, if they end up in court? Just feels weird immediately after this.

Ed Martin, using his official DOJ account, is now promoting an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory accusing a former Capitol Police officer of planting pipe bombs on J6.
Just yesterday, a post from the same account claimed it was “false” that the DOJ had identified Shauni Kerkhoff as the suspect.

Weird, when they're yelling about it needing to be clean. It's almost like they're just lying about everything, and only concerned with serving their king.

In my feed today, I've seen a few posts about that. Thankfully, they're not that common. I'm seeing more people wanting goat carts on every corner.

Loevy plays a video of a woman's arrest. Hewson says the woman was "assaultive" because she kicked a can of tear gas that had been deployed.
Loevy: "When you tear gas somebody … and they try to kick the tear gas canister away from them, that's assaulting?"
Hewson: "Yes."

I would much rather we win on policy. Unfortunately, the GOP are going all in on redistricting, as they know their policies are ... let's be polite and call them unpopular. How does he suggest fighting against that? Taking them to court is also necessary, but not enough alone.

You know what, I'll take the goat stands on every corner. I'm still bitter we didn't get the taco trucks.

Pretty sure those numbers are threats and assaults BY ICE, not against them.
Of course, I'm kidding. Those numbers aren't nearly high enough for that.
