I've now purged all Microsoft products from my computers. I opted for Arch Linux since Valve supports it. I got xsane for my scanner, cups for my printer, Lutris and Steam for my games, Libreoffice for my office productivity. Netflix and Crunchyroll stream to Brave and Firefox. Peacock does not work

I'm surprised that Linux seems to play many Windows games with good performance. It really came a long way! So I guess that means when Oct 2025 arrives, I'll be left with the choice to buy a brand new PC for Windows 11 or upgrade to Linux to do everything Windows can do. Which would you choose?

I really wish the YouTube e-ink tablet reviewers would talk about uses beyond art, note taking and book reading... like doodling math! Complicated math takes pages of writing, can be completely or partially wrong, maybe needs basic sketching... and all that chicken scratch piles up over time.
