I prefer the Re-enchantment, Fortean, or Mystical approach. Mythology and Ecstatic states also shed light on these phenomenon. I came across a Christian Witch that talked about the Evangelical Christian god as an Egregore.

What makes up the ground of being is confusing to say the least. What constitutes real is akin to Christian evangelicals trying to “prove” the flood etc. e.g., Creation Museum and Ark encounter. The secular version of this is Ancient Aliens which has its own troubling issues.
