This is what you get with “blue no matter who.” There must be a higher standard than a willingness to claim to be a democrat. Primary these corrupt assholes with candidates not beholden to corporate money who will go on the record and fight against fascism, racial profiling, and wealth transfer.

It says no “increases.” That could mean they’re still willing to approve the already absurd budget ICE currently uses, when public sentiment wants them defunded.

Hegseth: haha, wait. Not accountable- that must be a typo. Abominable. They’ll be abominable.

A case study of genetic mental illness roleplaying as a holiday greetings card.
January 12, 2026 at 4:20 PM
Uh, what? The white left, with those three examples? This feels like the laziest race baiting argument, and only serves to further the goals of the GoP- distraction and division.
January 9, 2026 at 11:19 AM
At the current rate that the poor demographic is growing, that strategy likely wouldn’t win elections.

If Fox News is pushing back like this, it makes me wonder what they know/suspect is coming

Check that guy’s hard drive asap

How is he different from an openly gay guy distancing himself from pro-lgbt policies? You always seem like the smartest guy in the room- I’ve been wondering if you’ve suffered a recent brain injury This country needs someone to fight the GoP, not appease them. We want a candidate to rally behind.
November 16, 2025 at 1:36 AM
Respectfully- wake up. When companies donate to politicians, it’s because they expect to be paid back with favorable votes. That’s how this country has been run (ruined) since the Citizens United verdict.
November 11, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Donation data is freely available with a simple search. Explain to me why caving is better than forcing GoP to nuke the filibuster and assume all credit for the destruction of the ACA. Eight Dems caving allows the GoP to label the decision bipartisan-1 week after the mass protests and election wins.
November 11, 2025 at 1:42 PM
Hey, friend- I vote for Dems just like you. Unlike you, I don’t think they’re perfect or above reproach. The decision to cave was one to trade death from hunger for death from lack of medical care- we die either way. We cannot control how the GOP votes, but we CAN hold our own party accountable.
November 11, 2025 at 1:27 PM
*When* the republicans don’t extend the ACA credits and people die, the Dems who gave up their leverage by caving will share the responsibility. The GOP is doing *everything* possible to enrich the elites at the cost of the people and Dems gave away the only tool they had- for a promise from liars.
November 11, 2025 at 1:19 PM
The terrible decision to cave last night had nothing to do with being in the minority and everything to do with corruption. The Dems that flipped have received donations from airline lobbyists. The shutdown gave Dems leverage while being in the minority and they threw it away- Stewart is right.

Thank you for attacking my appearance in a thread about the demise of democracy. Very relevant and helpful.
November 10, 2025 at 8:46 AM
I’d choose realistic over optimistic in these dire times when the people elected to represent our interests are more beholden to corporate lobbyists. Optimism only gets you so far— I believe we’re rapidly approaching the time for tough, pragmatic changes if we want democracy to survive here.
November 10, 2025 at 8:01 AM
I’m not saying all Dems suck- I always vote dem. I don’t believe they’re perfect or above reproach. What happened tonight was a failure of leadership that will have terrible consequences. It should not be ignored. You know you don’t need to attack me either, right? But here you are
November 10, 2025 at 7:08 AM
Right, lady. Continue to vote for them even when they fail to do the job, even when they betray their promises to constituents. Cancel all primaries against incumbents, we don’t deserve better. Amazing logic, noting could go wrong.
November 10, 2025 at 7:02 AM
I honestly believe that public outcry on social media is far more likely to influence policy than calls to politicians that are not even answered.
November 10, 2025 at 6:53 AM
…what about me? Your argument seems to be that they are above all criticism because they claim to be a democrat. I support politicians who vote for their constituents and not their corporate donors.

Go ahead and take that blueresisters hashtag from your bio, friend. You’ve lost the plot.

Just millionaires, everyone. Please relax with the hateful rhetoric, stop worrying about your lack of healthcare, and open your wallets for expensive food from that historical bastion of quality, McDonalds. Just millionaires.
October 31, 2025 at 7:02 AM
Religion is just a tool used by politicians to control the ignorant and uneducated. There’s a reason the GOP has been defunding education for decades- a populace taught how to think critically is more difficult to control with easily disproven lies.

The first batch have mostly been disbarred, right? That’s gotta be a deterrent for anyone who believes there may one day be accountability for the daily flood of illegal actions.
