Forgot to bring a book on vacation, whaaaaaat? Fortunately the lodge here has a cozy book lined library where they encourage all patrons to leave or take a book as the occasion presents itself. I got lucky with this Joseph Heller (of Catch-22 fame) book, it's a good 'un!

I am on a quest to read all the Newbery award winning young adult fiction books since its institution in 1921. This week’s choice (in honor of MLK day) is the 2022 winner, “Freewater” by Amina Lyman-Dawson which also won the Coretta Scott King Award. Fantastic read so far!
