On a recent trip to Liège we ended up visiting a couple of more modern bars which, although very pleasant, didn’t give us what we want from Belgian beer.

It does say something about how Irish politics has gone since the wild west years of the 80s and 90s that this is what reaches the threshold of a money-related controversy.
