Durham are a very resilient club despite what the table says. They could have a little gem on their hands with newgen Sevim Cin netting twice, but we have that little extra quality about us. Man Utd losing to City gives us and Villa extra wriggle room! #FM26

Courtney Brosnan did what she could, including saving a Ruiz penalty, but we have the three points thanks to three goals! Beever-Jones and Oteng are forming a neat little partnership so far. Early days yet. #FM26

Chelsea's second string and youth prospects could probably finish third in the league by themselves, but I didn't want to deny my backup players their chance either. They earned the right to play this semi-final, but the task was too big. Arsenal or Chelsea will be League Cup winners yet again.

That one has driven me nuts since the beta. I'd understand if there was a defined reason for it, but there's no explanation. I need my bench in the order I set:

GK, centre-back, full-back, midfielder, right-winger, left-winger, striker (I'm used to nine slots for the WSL in my save, though).

"Money can't buy you goals! Even Halifax got one!" Our travelling support were all too eager to pile the misery on Man City, who never looked like scoring against us! Our unlikely heroes were Shaw from centre midfield and Merrouche at right-back! It'll be derby day against Brighton in the quarters!

I got stuck on the processing screen after exiting the match day, but thank goodness I have autosave after every match enabled. That ensured our dramatic late turnaround away to West Ham was preserved! Enger and Lia scored in front of our fans to put us third in the league! :D #FM26

That's what I'm talkin' about! The new formation didn't click immediately, but when it did...oh wonder and joy! Martha Oteng got another brace and set up Enger! Beever-Jones was an architect for the chances too! Europe is back on! #FM26

Come onnnnnnn! The rotation squad produced a stunning team display to not only beat Man City, but dominate them! It was an even game on the stats, but we were extremely composed in front of goal! Paige Nesbeth at LB set up three of the goals! Outstanding! Chelsea in the LC semis! #FM26

Playtime will be brought to an abrupt end because the next round of the FA Cup will lead us to play Manchester City! We've only met in the WSL since I took over, but now, we're going to face off against them in the League Cup in a few days, and then the Cup! Wowzers! #FM26
December 31, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Yep, that's your inevitable stat-padding against a non-league club in Halifax, but you have to admire Vivienne Lia tormenting them all afternoon and finding the net for seven of our fifteen goals! Phenomenal! #FM26

Signs are positive of the 4-1-2-1-2, although Werder Bremen are a mid-table side in the Frauen-Bundesliga. I'll definitely try it out in the FA Cup away to Halifax. The league match against Aston Villa at home the week after is too important to allow for a rotation policy. We must be prepared. #FM26

Get in! Man City have left Aggie Beever-Jones to rot on the bench, so with her contract due to expire in the summer, I made my move! Now, Oteng is still first choice, but she really does need to be more clinical to stay there! #FM26

I am using the winter break to have a re-think with our tactics. I'll still keep the 4-2-3-1, but if we have a greater need for goals, then we need two up top as an alternative. Let's attempt a 4-1-2-1-2, where the wingers come back to LM/RM in defence. #FM26

Ah, the rule about two points for a penalty shoot-out win and one point for a penalty shoot-out loss have been applied. And this time, I got to watch the spot kicks. Emma Thompson and Amanda Gutierres were inspired, so it's a pity our youthful team were beaten. But we're through to the quarters!

I felt guilty that we fell back out of the League Cup last season, so to beat Spurs again to get us 6/6pts is exactly what I needed to deliver. Blanchard was back to her best, which bodes well for after the winter break when we finish up the League Cup group. #FM26
December 29, 2025 at 9:08 PM
At last! Spurs took the lead twice, but we tied it up twice before half-time! Then came another battering of their goal, but this time, Thompson was sent through on the wing, and her attempt at a cross was pushed by the goalkeeper towards a rampaging Blanchard! She stroked the ball home to win it!
December 29, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Well, that's one way for Liverpool to rewrite the form book when we won here 9-0 last season. Damm parried the ball out to MacLean from a corner, and she lobbed our whole team to put them ahead. Amy Gallacher did go down the other end and equalise immediately. We should've won it, though. :\ #FM26

It's that consistency again! A staggering third defeat at home in a row! Everton had come to our patch four times since we got promoted and lost every time! But tonight was theirs, meaning we miss the chance to go fourth! What's the matter with us? :( #FM26

OzPacífico do enough to get second in the WCC, at least! Norris returns serve against Tsolov for ninth in the Driver's standings! We get a small break before the Chinese Grand Prix! #F1Manager

Norris had a five race barren spell, but now he's firmly back to something like his best self! O'Ward had that race won, but it was a silly call from the pit wall not to pit (I know, I know!) Doohan's penalty costs him against Piastri! Audi decline at the worst time! #F1Manager
