Still no theatrical release date for this in the UK despite being a week into October now, unless I glossed over something?

Can’t decide what to buy on Prime Day?

Try: absolutely nothing, and then go support indie bookstores instead 📚

Finished ink on bristol board A4 piece of a T-800 from THE TERMINATOR! I didn't get to draw the original model in the upcoming issue I drew of TERMINATOR: METAL, so here's my own tribute to that iconic Cameron/Winston design.

Will be offering this up for sale, so hit me up if you're interested!

Absolutely delighted for the friends and colleagues back home who have already or stand to benefit from this for years to come. Hopefully other states will wise up and follow suit.

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

This right now is another golden era of @2000ad.bsky.social and Henry’s a huge part of why that is—and yes, it’s time you started reading the Prog again. Get it on the app if you can’t get to the newsstand / are far from the UK

This is what @henryflint.bsky.social is cooking up in Judge Dredd: And To The Sea Return. RIGHT NOW. Phenomenal, exciting, psychedelic artwork. Nobody is doing it like Flint.
A page of Henry Flint's art in Judge Dredd, And To The Sea Return. The page features Judge Anderson trying to read the mind of a perp, whos mind is filled with nightmarish images of worms. The panels are all at different angles, suggesting the madness Anderson is witnessing. Sat behind the entire composition is one giant nightmarish worm creature. It's spooky stuff!

I jumped pack on three progs ago for the first time in a good few years, and Rob, Henry and Annie's Dredd strip is a massive highlight (particularly Henry's own colours). Keen to see where your Rogue strip is going too! Definetely rekindling the magic I originally fell in love with as a teen.

Stellar charity shop find for a pound. Haven't seen the play, but this cast is insane and the film long OOP and pricey enough on the second hand market.

- We need cheaper printed black and white comics for the love of god
- Comics for adults could do crazy numbers if they actually had support, pubs are leaving money on the table
- Prose authors shouldn't be hired to write comics based on prose chops alone
- Cartoonists should be paid 700x more
