Footpaths that are uneven and fall towards the road might be my biggest transportation gripe. It's such a minor way that pedestrians are treated as sub-class citizens. Pushing a pram or even walking is annoying when you're constantly being pulled towards traffic.

I've started using FreshRSS alongside NetNewsWire for all my feeds I've been enjoying immensely. I've been actually reading all the newsletters I'm subscribed to instead of just ignoring them.

Makes perfect sense. I have at least one Ghost site (platformer.news) in my feed and it works as expected. Including hiding the content from certain posts as I’m not a subscriber. So hopefully it works as expected for free

It would be great to have the official feed updated so the image "sizes" aren't included. But no pressure as now that I know what's wrong I can figure out a solution for myself

Figured it out I think. The "sizes" on the "" tag is not valid and it's leading to readers dropping the content. Using rssviewer.app with the official feed it doesn't show the content, but with a feed that has the "sizes" removed (gist.github.com/eoinobrien/e...) it shows the content correctly

Oh you're 100% right, for some reason my reader is not showing the content, just the title and the description. I'll investigate a bit more and will follow up if I figure it out.

@samtranum.bsky.social Any possibility of Dublin Inquirer getting an RSS feed with the full article over just a snippet? Would love to be able to read the paper in my normal RSS Reader updates.

I don't like Michael Lowry, but he's is running, and he has 5 councillers on his "Team" shouldn't he have been on the stage instead?

I know I'm days late but why on earth was Joan Collins on the #RTEUpfront debate this week. Ignoring the fact that Right to Change only have 1 TD and 1 Counciller in the country, they are only have one candidate running (Joan) in this election full stop

Was in the pub at the weekend talking to a lady about how her dead, 97yo aunt couldn’t cycle and that the road changes in Dundrum were making it impossible to go anywhere.
Hard to convince people some change is good when their only argument is “no changes to roads without good alternatives to cars”
