The South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant in San Diego was just expanded to treat an additional 10 million gallons per day (mgd) of raw sewage. This increases the plant’s capacity from 25 mgd to 35 mgd. Instead of taking two years as originally projected, this (cont in image...)

At the State Capital in Cheyenne, I just signed a proposal to approve Wyoming’s coal combustion residuals (CCR) program application, allowing the state, rather than the federal government, to manage disposal of CCR in Wyoming’s surface impoundments and landfills. The Trump EPA (cont in image...)

The Supreme Court in Loper Bright overturned the Chevron Doctrine, which means that agencies like the EPA can no longer creatively give themselves powers that aren’t clearly granted in statute.

The US needs to unleash more domestic baseload power to meet our robust energy and AI goals as a nation. As for offshore wind, it’s an intermittent source of energy that is not a substitute for baseload power. Natural gas, nuclear, coal, etc. can’t be held back, shouldn’t be (cont in reply...)
