Verstappen is incredibly talented even among F1 drivers, but he is four championship wins away from being the one and only GOAT.

He has the skills to be that GOAT, but the field is full of established and new talents that will make it hard for him, and rightfully so. No GOAT had it easy.

I think it was initially a dig at the city for not allowing a race around the real marina but it is now kinda iconic imo...

Ah they will tell you they tried, and nothing happened. In their mind, this and Clinton having a private at-home unsecure email server are the same issue. And they're not entirely wrong.

The driver's championship is over and Russell is not contending for second. This was one foreign-owned UK-based team against another. What bias?

It's a state case. He can't pardon himself or order anyone to drop the case. If he loses the case, he can probably suspend application of the judgment while president, but that suspension will expire when his term does.

You probably forgot to ask for the $50,000 express service.

There are cities in Europe that pass short-term homelessness bans when temperatures drop below certain thresholds because shelters or prisons beat death.

Hertz got a good deal on these 100,000 cars. Deep volume discount with no time commitment, and doesn't cost anything until they buy a car. Flip side, Hertz couldn't get the same volume discount on parts that they get from other manufacturers. So Hertz is slowing down not stopping new Tesla purchases
January 12, 2024 at 2:07 PM
This! Sort of. Hertz records the resale value of cars when buying new ones. When Tesla cut prices by 30%, it hit the resale value of Hertz's cars. It must be booked as a loss against profit. Selling now minimizes the loss of expected value vs keeping them. But true maintenance costs were higher too.
January 12, 2024 at 1:59 PM

Bloomberg reports exactly 5, not "dozens" a la CNBC. Bloomberg says that specific number comes off a Boeing request. Probably had time to figure which other aircraft were built with parts from the same batch, or the same mechanic, or the same tool before it was recalibrated... They track all that.

Well, tech "bros" are very insular, and yeah, that'd be their minimum wage....
