Cheer up, we’ll all be dead soon.

He also becomes club trained for uefa squad criteria.

She was asked what her favourite Oasis song was. If she hasn’t got one, she hasn’t got one.

Who have we bought young and sold for a profit?

Levy would’ve sacked him in November and invested in January.
February 10, 2026 at 10:37 PM
It’s 100% *not* the situation the team was in last season. There was never the threat of relegation at any stage despite finishing 17th. Ange rested players in the league to concentrate on the Europa. This fucker is going to have to sacrifice the CL in the bid to survive in the prem.

Contracted until 2030 and becomes a club trained player when he turns 21. Bayern couldn’t afford him.

Haha ok
February 1, 2026 at 4:44 PM
The best are out on loan currently ( 4 of those out on loan contributed goals in last seasons Europa league campaign) but it’s fair to say there has been a recent drought in players making the step up to be considered 1st team regulars. There is hope that some of the current crop make the grade.

Will be interesting to see if, as rumoured, he wishes to stay another year on loan in Hamburg. I would suspect that for Spurs to agree to it, Luka might have to agree to a contract extension.
February 1, 2026 at 2:15 PM
These squad positions are ringfenced and cannot be filled by non affiliated players. Currently, this is particularly damaging for spurs, as we currently only have *1* club trained player, meaning 3 squad places are left empty.
February 1, 2026 at 1:59 PM
With regard to uefa squad rules, the squad must have 8 ‘association’ trained players (players trained at clubs within your domestic league) of which, 4 must be ‘club trained’ (players trained by your club) to qualify as club trained a player must be on clubs books for 3 years prior to 21st birthday

Bergvall and Gray both get regular gametime at Spurs, both teenagers.

If he’s good enough he’ll play. In the summer he (Luka) felt he wasn’t ready to usurp either Van de Ven or Romero so requested a loan for game time. Spurs (who wanted him in the PL squad) agreed to it for development.
February 1, 2026 at 1:49 PM
He also becomes ‘club trained’ with Gray and Bergvall long before then.
February 1, 2026 at 1:40 PM
He doesn’t want to play at the highest level NOW. Thats why he’s on loan in the Bundesliga.

Further to that, there’s talk he would like to remain on loan at Hamburg next season to play with his brother.

If true, where does leave your “highest level” argument?

The topic is spurs arsenal. Thats it.

The fact that City have abhorrent owners is moot, because it’s a fact that they do, and it’s not going to *not* be a fact because I wish it wasn’t the case.

Simply playing the cards I’ve been dealt.
February 1, 2026 at 2:34 AM
And no. To think the spurs/arsenal hatred is *at worst* “they moved in on our turf” is naive at best and at worst, downright idiotic.
February 1, 2026 at 2:25 AM
This isn’t a discussion on the bigger picture, it’s focused purely on whether it’s a legitimate wish for spurs to roll over to Man City to improve the likelihood that Arsenal fail to win the title.

Whatever point you think I’ve proved by staying on topic is moot.
February 1, 2026 at 2:21 AM
If you wish to understand the reasoning for wanting to prevent the other side of north London (whatever side that is) winning something at any cost, ask them. If you don’t care, don’t.

“Bound by chains” 🙄

Your hatred of the likes of Newcastle and City ahead of Arsenal is moot.
February 1, 2026 at 1:55 AM
My business includes not having to deal with insufferable Arsenal fans. If that means my team lose against a team that can remove that possibility then so be it.

Ask the Arsenal fans who would have (hypothetically) happily sacrificed the Europa if it meant spurs lost the CL final.
February 1, 2026 at 1:40 AM
First time I heard that 50% of supporting spurs was hating arsenal and 50% of supporting arsenal was hating spurs was 35 years ago and It was an Arsenal fan that said it to me.

It’s not for nothing that Spurs away fans went to old Trafford in 1999 and held up a large “let them win” sign.
