It sure doesn’t feel limited when you’re the target. My feelings every day now are the feelings I’ve had when my school has had lockdowns and active threats. Here is no more law there is no more rights or protections anything could happen to any of us and no one will face consequences.

We’re being forced to make terrible choices. It’s paining my heart as a teacher to choose between being on high alert all day every day waiting for something to happen next that will traumatize my students, and having them stay home and interrupting all that progress we’ve been working so hard on.

How about “I’m going to shoot you if you don’t open this door” “you’re no fun you’re white” “you better be careful or you’ll end up like her”. Or even better the number of people they’ve physically assaulted. Their actions are not legal. They are above the law.

Also and additionally though things did used to be more simple in this regard: there WERE way less sick kids, because there were more dead kids. Pretty simple.

I just got into a back and forth with someone who was very certain Christians were not doing any good in the world. Some people who don’t understand the foundational principals have made a bad name for a religion with a lot of potential for good. But we need people on board, this is it!

WHY do we keep pretending that the president can sign an ai drafted letter and that we have to listen to it and dismantle the government? That’s not how our system works. That’s not legal. It keeps happening?

Generally I discourage people from thinking the economy is an immediate cause and effect situation. Usually it’s a lot more complicated. But not this time this is pretty straightforward.

I have to do something biweekly called “time and effort” where I do my teaching job all week and then I also punch in on a website programmed by a child in the 90s how many hours I worked and what I did. I have solidarity at this time

This is so true about everything that’s happening and I keep getting in fights with my husband about it. Yes they are doing terrible things. No I do not believe those terrible things will be permanent.

Here in MN I feel it, I hate it! I wanted to go ice skating today and I couldn’t because EVERYTHING IS MELTED at a time when traditionally the lakes would have ice 2 feet thick.
