Having a baby makes planning for crock pot recipes a lot easier. "If I start now, this will be done at 2am...yeah, I'll be up then." :)

The main drawback of real cooking vs. instant is that every 30 seconds I get distracted and walk into the kitchen like "is it done yet? oh yeah..."

It's better to focus on eating healthy instead of losing weight. If you try to lose weight for one day and stop, you feel like you failed. But if you focus on eating healthy, that one day of healthy food still counts. You will always have Tuesday, April 15th, when your body got those extra vitamins.

I've decided to be conservative and not share photos of my baby on the internet, so now my life has devolved into finding every possible excuse to trap every person I know and shove baby pictures in their face. I am a good mom.

I babysat my friend's 6 year old last weekend. For lunch I made him chicken fingers, french fries, and fruit. His review of my cooking: "This is like McDonalds, but at Sarah's house!" He was very impressed.

I'm pretty sure blue sky only has like 10 members at this point, but i never got around to doing twitter so i figure this is a decent platform to dump some random thoughts onto. not tech saavy, but now that i figured out where the "post" button is, things should be much easier.
